Established
in July 2008, the International Abyssinian and Somali
Breed Club (IASBC) is a newly formed non-profit club
with a commitment to protect, promote and advance the
best interests and welfare of the Abyssinian and Somali
cats.
Our
Mission:

Promote education and understanding of the
Abyssinian and Somali breeds.

Promote responsible breeding and ownership.

Promote a welcoming and inclusive membership
environment for everyone interested in the breed.

Promote the quality of life of our feline friends
through training and community involvement.
- Work
together to establish a rescue protocol to help
Abyssinians and Somalis in need along with their
owners.

Mentor newcomers to the breeds.

Consistently strive to demonstrate the principles of
good sportsmanship and treat others with respect and
dignity.

Promote the sport of purebred cats through service,
education and the sponsorship of
TICA events and
shows.

We
would like to invite anyone who owns and loves Abys and/or Somalis to
join the club.
The criteria for
membership is simply to own and love an Aby or Somali. All members
must complete a membership application and membership is voted on by the
Board.
